TBG The Boonin Group
Public Utility Economics, Policy and Strategy
History
Founded in 1992 by David Magnus Boonin to meet the need for his objective and balanced view of utility strategies and regulation – synchronizing public and private interests. TBG finds superior solutions, not inferior compromises. Rather than build a traditional consulting firm with a large overhead, configuring projects to underutilized resources, TBG is dedicated to increasing its client’s value.
Clients get the services of David Boonin, never some unknown junior consultant, at a lower rate and with greater access than with principals at traditional firms. Clients may call Boonin at any time to discuss their concerns or ideas. If someone needs an expertise that Boonin does not have, TBG finds these services for you based upon decades of experience or declines the engagement.
TBG’s greatest successes are based upon ongoing relationships. Boonin becomes part of your team. This creates synergy based upon understanding, trust and common vision. The one recurring question clients hear is “are you getting value from TBG?.”
Clients
Electric, gas and water utilities (both investor owned and municipal), regulatory agencies, energy consumers, competitive energy companies, financial and insurance institutions, foreign companies and organizations, start-up or second phase companies, law firms and consulting companies.
